 Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11 this year. Many of the schools, townships, cities and businesses will be honoring the veterans in some way.  McKinley Museum to Offer Free Admission to Veterans and Active Duty Military on November 10 & 11

 Canton, Ohio… In honor of Veterans Day, the McKinley Museum will offer free admission to all Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel on November 10 and 11, 2023. This discount is only available to the individual and does not include family members. For more information, please call the museum at 330 - 455 - 7043.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is located at 800 McKinley Monument Dr NW in Canton.  The Keller Gallery is the Museum’s temporary exhibition space and features a variety of topics each year.  The Museum also includes the McKinley National Memorial, McKinley Gallery, Street of Shops, The Stark County Story, Discover World, Ramsayer Research Center, and the Hoover-Price Planetarium.  The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Museum is closed Sunday and Monday.

Join the community of Green in honoring our Veterans on Saturday featuring:

·     Green Fire Division Honor Guard

·     Green High School JROTC

·     Green High School student performers

·     Mayor Gerard Neugebauer will honor two local veterans and Green Highschool Graduates:

·     Sergeant First Class Ashley White

·     First Lieutenant in the Ohio Army National Guard Dan Pollock

·     Light refreshments following the ceremony

Due to the forecast of cooler temperatures, the ceremony has been moved indoors to the Queen of Heaven Life Center, 1800 Steese Road, located next to the Veterans Park.
