Stark County, Ohio – Visit Canton, the Stark County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau, hosts America’s Playing Field Destination Showcase on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, at Belden Village Mall.

 

The Showcase intends to encourage guests to explore the greater Stark County area as a destination for summer fun. The event is free to attend and open daily from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.  Seasonal attractions, museums, family fun, shopping, special events, and the arts, will all be represented at over 20 participating exhibitor booths.  Attendees can also learn about each business’s volunteer opportunities and summer job openings.

 

There will be a showcase of local entertainment on the stage located in Center Court, including comedians from Krackpots Comedy Club, a bird demonstration with Raptor Hallow Sanctuary, Gervasi Vineyard cocktail class, plus, live music from EN-RICH-MENT, Vocal Fusion, local musicians Nick Bonner and Robin Roseberry. Pro Football Hall of Famer Donnie Shell will be in attendance on Friday at 12:00PM as part of the Hall of Famer in Residence program.
