Information: Schools across Stark County and Stark County Educational Service Center member districts, representing 16 school districts, supported the Harvest for Hunger Campaign to help fight hunger locally. Each district collected nonperishable food items in hopes of stuffing at least one of their school buses full of donations. Residents could also participate by dropping off donations at their local school.
Volunteers from American Electric Power, Walsh Jesuit High School and Clearview Developmental Services will be volunteering that day to help unload the buses.
This will mark the seventh year the school districts have come together for a single fundraising initiative.
