North Canton City Hall Regular Office Services Temporarily Relocated to North Canton's Civic Center
The City of North Canton recently posted the following information:
City Hall Regular Offices Closed for NCPD & City Hall HVAC Renovations; Services to Continue Remotely & In-Person via North Canton Civic Center During Regular Business Hours
JUNE 24, 2026— Please be advised that all North Canton City Hall regular office services have been temporarily relocated for the next stage of renovations to the North Canton Police Department (NCPD) and City Hall HVAC system. Rather than City Hall, office services will be provided remotely and in-person via the North Canton Civic Center (845 W. Maple St.) during regular business hours Monday-Friday.
- The NCPD and Dispatch will remain open and operational at City Hall. Non-emergency inquiries can be directed to NCPD’s non-emergency line at 330-499-5911. Parking ticket payments & appeals can be submitted via our website at northcantonohio.gov/579/Parking-Tickets.
- Assistance for all regular City offices and non-emergency departments will remain available remotely through the City’s main phone line at 330-499-8223 during regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; via the City’s website at northcantonohio.gov; via email; and via our online Contact Forms at northcantonohio.gov/142/Contact.
- Utility payments will continue to be accepted remotely, either online, via mail, at the downstairs City Hall Utilities drop-box, or via the kiosk located in the downstairs vestibule of City Hall. Learn more about your City utility payment options or submit an online payment via our website at northcantonohio.gov/202/Utility-Billing.
- Development Services (Building & Permits) will continue to conduct in-person inspections as scheduled, and all City permit applications & payments remain available online at northcantonoh.portal.opengov.com. Permit payments will also be accepted via mail or the City Hall Utilities drop-box.
- For additional assistance, City staff will be available in-person at the North Canton Civic Center (845 W. Maple St.) during regular business hours Monday-Friday. Visitors may use the Council Chambers entrance off the courtyard.
Signage has been posted at City Hall, and any updates will be provided via the City’s website and social media pages as they become available. We appreciate our community’s patience and understanding as we work to uphold quality services for North Canton while moving forward with these critical renovations.
