DIAPER BANK AND MCDONALD’S RESTAURANTS TO HOLD DIGITAL DRIVE FOR DIAPER NEEDS ON VALENTINE’S DAY
Canton, OH – Making a change for your community has never been easier – all you need is the McDonald’s app and an appetite. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, from 4 to 8 pm participating TomTreyco McDonalds* will donate 25% of all digital sales and 10% of traditional sales to Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank’s mission to help babies stay clean, dry, healthy, and happy.Ordering is easy. Orders may be made on McDonald’s app for dine-in, curbside pickup, delivery, drive-thru or pick up. Valentine’s Day is a perfect day for lovin’ it and your community.
“We’re lucky to have businesses like the TomTreyco McDonalds to help share our mission and put a little love back into their neighborhoods,” said Shannon Hexamer of Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank. “The need for diapers and supplies is increasing each month and support like this helps us meet as much of the need as we possibly can.”

Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank, a member of the National Diaper Bank Network, is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides emergency diaper support as well as wipes, period products and other essentials to families experiencing diaper need through 25 Community Distribution Partners including food banks, health departments, social service agencies, and faith-based organizations in Stark, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Wayne, Medina, Summit, and Harrison Counties. The organization diaper program exists to help strengthen low-income families, secure an adequate monthly supply of fresh diapers for their children, and ensure that these babies get a healthier start in life.
Since May of 2019, when the diaper bank handed out its first diaper, it has supplied its Community Distribution Partners with 1,118,735,401 diapers 1,140,401 . Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank currently distributes over 40,000 diapers monthly. On average, 1100 babies and toddlers receive diapers each month.
