Stark County Hunger Task Force holds volunteer open house at Ken Weber
Community Campus at Goodwill
Stark County Hunger Task Force will hold a volunteer open house Thursday, Feb. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill, 408 Ninth St. SW, Room 1440. Organization staff and volunteers will lead tours of the pantry, warehouse and Backpack for Kids spaces.
They will provide information about volunteer opportunities. Light refreshments will be available.
Stark County Hunger Task Force serves the community by providing financial, logistical, strategic and food support through a network of local emergency food pantries and Backpack for Kids programs. On average, the organization provides free groceries to 34,000 individuals annually and distributes 2,150 backpacks of weekend meals for kids weekly. Founded in 1981, Stark County Hunger Task Force
leads the fight against hunger in Stark County.
