The Stark Parks Rangers are excited to announce a crucial water rescue training exercise scheduled for February 12 at Sippo Lake. The training will involve Rangers taking part in various simulated water rescue scenarios.

This training session aims to enhance the department’s preparedness in responding to water emergencies, providing real-world practice in water rescues, and life-saving techniques in a controlled environment. The event will also serve as an opportunity for Rangers to use critical skills and best practices to ensure public safety in water-related emergencies.

"We are committed to ensuring the highest level of readiness when it comes to public safety," said Justin Laps, Chief Ranger. "This training exercise is essential in equipping our team with the skills necessary to handle any water rescue situation with confidence and efficiency."

Stark Parks encourages the public to be aware of the training. Please contact 330-477-3552 with any questions about the scheduled training.
